摘　　要：公安机关的工作性质 ,决定了许多民警在社会管理工作中和其他警务活动中 ,不可避免地与HIV携带者直接接触 ,极有可能受到感染。就当前对公安民警艾滋病防范知识和能力低下的原因分析 ,提出相应的途径和方法 :1 在公安院校开展预防艾滋病知识教育 ;2 在公安基层开展预防艾滋病知识教育。The work quality of public security organs determines that police have such possibilities to infect HIV, for they will inevitably contact the persons with HIV on business or other policing affairs. This article analyses the causes for why our police has such poor abilities and knowledge which fail them to protect from infecting by AIDS, then put forward the following methods to deal with them: firstly, to carry out the education on AIDS precaution knowledge among police training school; secondly, to carry out the education on AIDS precaution knowledge at police grass-root units.
