摘　　要：文章扼要介绍上世纪70年代以来美国文学在诗歌、小说、戏剧等方面的发展,指出其流派界限特点已由过 去的壁垒分明变得模糊。少数族裔文学如亚裔、印第安文学开始兴起,黑人文学开始从边缘走向中心,试验小说开 始转向现实主义。无论在诗歌、小说还是戏剧方面都有不少新变化。This article gives a brief description of American literature since the 1970's, its development in fiction, drama and poetry, the blurring of the demarcation between serious literature and popular literature, the shift in experimental writings toward realism and the rise of the literatures of minority ethnic racial groups, especially the shifting of African American literature from the margin to the center.
