摘　　要：本文通过对中国新闻思想史上三个新闻定义的解读和分析 ,认为徐宝璜的定义重点是“事实” ,从而要建立客观中立的报刊模式 ;陆定一定义的中心是“报道” ,由此演变成“用事实说话”的基本理念和规范。范长江则是把“群众”置于首位 。Three Definitions on News are examined here in this article. While the emphasis of news definition by Xu Baohuang is the fact, with the aim to establish a press model of objective and mutual, Lu Dingyi sees the reporting as the central point of the news definition, from which a basis of theory and regulations of 'reporting with the fact' is evolved. However, Fan Changjiang puts the 'mass' on the top the news definition in order to search a new way of the Party papers under the new situation.
