摘　　要：A new compound, 4-hydroxy-a-tetralone-4-O-b-D-[6-O-(3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoyl) glucopyranoside (1), together with a known compound, 4-hydroxy-a-tetralone (2), has been isolated from the roots of Juglans regia. 2 showed moderate bioactivity against protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B).A new compound, 4-hydroxy-a-tetralone-4-O-b-D-[6-O-(3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoyl) glucopyranoside (1), together with a known compound, 4-hydroxy-a-tetralone (2), has been isolated from the roots of Juglans regia. 2 showed moderate bioactivity against protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B).
