摘　　要：数字图书馆是随着Internet的发展而兴起的 ,使用计算机技术手段实现的图书信息网络服务环境。作者描述了数字图书馆的基本形态、结构及模型 ,并通过一个医院数字图书馆系统的建设实践 ,阐述了相关标准、主要软件的性能。The digital library refers to the delivery of networked book and information service which has sprung up with the development of the Internet and which has been realized by means of computer technology. The authors offer a description of the fundamental form, structure and model of the digital library, and expound relevant standards, functions of the chief software, technical indexes and ways of realization through actual practice in building the system architecture of a digital hospital library.
