摘　　要：保证期间是混合的除斥期间 ,是相对意义上的不变期间 ,根本上的除斥期间 ,其根本作用是除权 ,对此司法解释也明确规定保证期间不适用中断、中止。The guaranty period is a mixed Scheduled period and a relatively unchangeable period. It is a radically scheduled period whose fundamental function is excluding a right. And, withal, Judicial Interpretations explicitly provided that the regulation of suspension, discontinuance and prolongation is applied to the guaranty period.
