摘　　要：阐明了审稿能力培养对新编辑的重要性。论述了编辑审稿的意义、方法及审稿的项目和原则(即文稿的政治性:加强保密意识,及要严格区别政治问题与学术问题的界限;文稿的科学性:指出科技论文的基本结构,及理论与实践的关系;文稿的文字处理:力求文字表达的准确性、简约性及通俗性的统一)。提出了提高编辑审稿能力的措施(加强培训和实践;编辑个人努力)The importance of improving new editors'manuscriptexamining ability has been clarified.The significance,methods,items and principles of examining manuscripts are discussed from political,scientific and technical aspects.Editors should be conscious of the privacy system and able to distinguish political and academic problems.The thesis should be of great scientific importance and satisfy the format requirements of scientific research papers.As for the style and mechanics of writing,stress should be laid on accuracy,conciseness and popularity.Methods of improving editors'manuscriptexamining ability have been,suggested,such as strengthening the combination of training with practice and encouraging the editors'own efforts.
