摘　　要：四川省和重庆市是西南地区的两个重要省市,在西部开发战略中占有重要地位,两地科技创新能力对西部大开发有重要意义,通过两地科技创新能力的比较,分析其现状,找出其原因,互相取长补短,共同提高科技创新能力,促进西南地区的经济发展。Sichuan and Chongqing are the important province and city in the southwest of China They are important in western development Their scientific and technological innovation abilities are also significant to western development By comparing the abilities of their scientific and technological innovation, this paper analyzes the current situation, finds out the reasons, and points out that it should learn from each other to make up the deficiencies, improve the scientific and technological innovation ability and promote the economic development of the southwest area
