摘　　要：新说纷呈的现代莎评包含:历史学派和新批评派对浪漫派莎评的反拨;"非布拉德雷"莎评家为推倒"偶像崇拜的神"所作的努力;语义象征学派对莎氏气质的探索;心理分析学派对莎氏心理活动和创作动机的研究;以及罗斯从莎著语言中认识莎氏本人的新说等五个新的批评走向。Some fresh interpretations of Shakespeare s biography by the Western critics in the 20th century which saw a great deal of Shakespearean criticism in new orientations. The author has limited the topic to only five of the new approaches:1) the reaction to the Romantic criticism by the historical critics, 2)the attacks on the 'God of Idolatry' by the unbradleyan critics, 3)the revelation of Shakespeare s temperament by linguasymbolic critics, 4)the study of Shakespeare s motivation for his dramatic creation by the psychoanalytic critics, and 5)the selfportrait of Shakespeare by Rowse.
