摘  要:Agent technology provides a flexible and uniform framework for Web and distributed applications,and interoperability is one of the most critical problems for agent technology to become mature and practical. This article analyzes the interoperability problem of Agent deeply. It first discusses the main research work about agent interoperability,namely OMG's MAF specification and the set of specifications of FIPA,and points out their drawbacks. Then a research model covering the main aspects of interoperability in Agent environment is brought up,and a reference model for agent system is also provided,which fully corresponds with the research model for agent interoperability.The two models have nice universality and adaptability,and provide a practical reference for building an Agent system with good interoperability.Agent technology provides a flexible and uniform framework for Web and distributed applications,and interoperability is one of the most critical problems for agent technology to become mature and practical.
