A New Species of the Genus Oecanthus from Yunnan Province, China(Orthophera: Oecanthidae)

摘　　要：记述了云南省树蟋科Oecanthidae树蟋属Oecanthus 1新种 ,即郑氏树蟋Oecanthuszhengi。模式标本保存于武汉工业学院。This paper deals with a new species of the genus Oecanthus . All types of specimens are deposited in Wuhan Polytechnic University. Oecanthus zhengi sp.nov.(Feg.1) This new species is allied to Oecanthus longicaudus Matsumura, but differs from: 1)frontal area black; 2)tergal suture yellow brown and in which each sides with longitudinal striation black brown from vertex to posterior margin of pronotum; 3)inferior surface of pleuranotum black brown; 4)♂,lacuna of metatergum with a planate gland; 5)Sc with 12 ramifications. Length of body: ♂12.9～13.3 mm, ♀11.2～13.7 mm; total length(with hind wing): ♂19.4～19.8 mm, ♀17.5～18.3 mm; length of pronotum: ♂2.4～2.5 mm, ♀2.3～2.5 mm; length of anterior wing : ♂13.3～14.1 mm, ♀11.2～11.9 mm; length of posterior femuro: ♂8.5～8.7 mm, ♀7.3～8.0 mm;length of ovipositor: 9.4～10.5 mm. Holotype ♂,paratype 5♂,15♀,Kunming,Yunnan,1 september 1999, collected by Xie Lingde. This new species is named after Prof . Zheng Zhemin for his outstanding contributions to the field of insect taxonomy.
