A NEW GENUS AND THREE NEW SPECIES OF FUNNEL-WEB SPIDERS FROM SOUTH CHINA(ARANEAE: AGELENIDAE)

摘　　要：本文报道了漏斗蛛科的一新属:扁桃蛛属Tonsilla gen.nov.,以及属于该新属的3个新种:猛扁桃蛛T.truculenta,模仿扁桃蛛T.imitata和象牙形扁桃蛛T.eburniformis.标本采自湖南、湖北和贵州3省.量度单位:mm.模式标本保存在湖南省生物研究所.A new genus Tonsilla and three new species of the genus:T. truculenta,T. imitata and T. eburniformis are described in this paper. All type specimens are deposited in the Research Section of Arachnology, Hunan Biological Research Institute, Changsha, Hunan Province. Measurements are in mm. The diagnoses of Tonsilla gen. nov. are given as follows: This new genus is similar to the genera Wadotes Chamberlin, 1925; Coras Simon, 1898 and Paracoelotes Brignoli, 1982, but they can be distiguished by the following charavteristics: 1. the epigynal teeth (without hairs) and the scape (with hairs) are present, the scape is overlapped by the epigynal teeth at ventral view, but in Paracoelotes, they are not overlapped. In Wadotes, there is a scape only; 2. the pair of epigynal teeth are slender, fused to each other side by side, in some individuals they are contiguous, only fused at the base, Epigynal teeth of Coras are shorter and separated from each other,arranged laterally. In Paracoelotes, these teeth are also slender, but not fused together; 3. two teeth on the retromarginal cheliceral fang furrow, without longitudinal bland pattern on the carapace. In Coras, it has three teeth and three longitudinal bland patterns; 4. the duct of spermatheca twists and embedded in a chitinous membrane. There is no such membrane in Wadoted and Coras; 5. the posterior edge of the cymbium no more protrusive than that of Wadotes, terminal apophysis sheet-like, but that of Wadotes is forked, the conductor is shorter than Paracoelotes, that of the latter is longer, curved and sheet-like. Total length: female, 8. 90～11. 80; male, 7.
