摘　　要：西部欠发达社会发展的根本是本土文化模式的发展。文化模式的发展 ,不应是模式替代 ,只能是本土模式的自觉改造、自我重构和自行变迁。发展的目标是现代化 ,但由于地域、传统和其它社会条件的差异 ,各个地区的现代化进程应该采取适当的模式和选择适当的目标 ,要与当地文化模式相融 ,从而得到所谓“地方性知识”的支持。The development of the less-developed societies is,the development of their local cultural paradigms, which is not the substitution of paradigms, but the conscious reformation, self-reconstruction and autonomous transformation. The aim of development is modernization, but due to differences in regions, traditions and other social conditions, appropriate paradigms and objectives should be selected for the modernization process in different regions to accord with the local cultural paradigms, thus winning the support of “local knowledge”.
