摘　　要：J2ME(Java 2 Micro Edition)是一种把Java语言应用于嵌入式系统的软件开发模式。该文首先介绍J2ME体系结构和各模块的特点。接着以一个应用——“英汉字典”为例，着重讨论设计开发过程中的问题。J2ME is a kind of software development mode, which uses Java language in the embedded systems. This paper introduces the architecture of J2ME and features of each module firstly. Then an example application——'English to Chinese Dictionary' be discussed with the special concerns about the problems during the design and the development.
