摘 要:Linux因为其开放源码、对硬件的强大支持、多种网络协议的实现成为开发NAS的理想平台。但是,NAS是一种专用的文件服务器,Linux下普遍使用的Ext2格式文件系统在性能上无法胜任。文件系统的安全性、可靠性、存储空间的利用率与访问速度是衡量NAS性能的关键指标,从这些目标出发,对NAS的文件系统进行了分析、设计及优化,最后给出Netbench软件对新系统性能的测试结果,经过比较,表明新系统有较好的性能。Linux is an ideal OS to develop NAS for its merits such as open source, strong support for hardware, full implementation of many network protocols, etc. But the popular Ext2 file system used in Linux is unfit for NAS. The safety, reliability, storage efficiency, access speed of a file system are critical standards to measure the performance of NAS. Aimed at these objectives, this paper analyses, designs and optimizes the file system of NAS. This paper introduces new methods: to improve the system safety by separating its system files from user files; to make up the shortcomings of ext2 by replacing it with ReiserFS journaling file system; to speed up the access by using RamDisk technology. At the end of the paper, it tests the new system and compares with others. The result shows that new system has better performance.
