摘　　要：CORBA和XML都是在分布式系统中被广泛应用的两项技术。本文首先简单介绍了CORBA和XML,并指出COR BA和XML在很大程度上是互补的,然后讨论了XML在CORBA分布式系统中的应用,通过XML和CORBA的结合,来提高CORBA分布式系统的灵活性和可扩展性。CORBA and XML are two technologies widely used in the field of distributed systems.This article firstly gives a brief introduction to CORBA and XML,and points out that CORBA and XML are mostly complementary,then discusses the points of applying XML in CORBAbased distributed systems. By combining CORBA and XML,the flexibility and extensibility of the CORBAbased distributed systems can be improved.
