摘　　要：本文介绍了AWA(Ada Working Assistant)系统的研制和开发.AWA是一个建立在VAX/VMS上的集成化的Ada程序设计支持环境,AWA的研制和开发大体上可分为两个部分,即构造Ada与其它一些应用软件的接口和设计一个以编辑器为核心的多级菜单驱动的、交互式的Ada程序设计环境系统.AWA (Ada Working Assistant) is an integrated Ada programming support environment based on VAX/VMS. The development of AWA consists of two major parts: interfacing Ada with other software systems, and constructing a hierarchical menu-driven and interactive Ada Programming Support Environment system around a powerful editor. The design and implementation of the second part of the system is introduced. The main purposes of this part is to integrate some major Ada programming tools (compiler, linker and runtime system) around a new multi-window editor developed by us and provide a nice interface to the Ada users.
