摘　　要：针对身份照片的压缩 ,提出了一种基于感兴趣区域 (ROI)的 EZW算法。首先通过FC2 VQ(Feature Correction two-stage Vector Quantization)算法检测出感兴趣区域即人的脸部特征 ,然后采用基于感兴趣区域的 EZW算法进行编码。这种编码方法 ,既保证了感兴趣区域的图像质量 。According to the personal identification picture compression, the paper presents the EZW algorithm based on region of interest (ROI). Firstly the region of interest or personal facial features can be detected by the FC2VQ algorithm, then the EZW algorithm based on region of interest is used to code. This coding algorithm can not only ensure the image quality of the region of interest, but also make the storage space of the compressed image small.
