摘　　要：西沟石灰岩矿床产于祁连山褶皱带北缘奥陶系中统碳酸盐岩建造中,该矿矿石质量稳定,矿层厚度大,呈陡倾斜产出。勘查工作采用水平孔与斜孔共同控制矿层,收到了良好的控制效果。Xigou limestone deposit in a large scale is occurrence in carbonate rock formation of Ordoviciansystem middle series of Northern Qilian fold belts. The geological exploration by a means of horizontal-directional drilling and inclined-directional drilling is very suitable for this kind of large amount of non-metallic deposits of the deeply dipping ore bed. In this paper, the deposits characters were expounded and thegeological exploration were briefly evaluated.
