摘 要:继全球化理论之后,德国学者乔格·弗里德里希通过对“中世纪主义”的类比和隐喻方法,极富想象力地创造了“新中世纪主义”这个概念,作为分析“后国际”体系的新范式。新中世纪主义被定义为“一个由民族国家体系和跨国市场经济的竞争性二元普世主义凝聚起来的权威重叠和多重忠诚的体系”。新中世纪主义对全球化理论的话语霸权构成了挑战,它认为全球化国际关系理论断定主权国家行将消亡的结论是十分偏执的,在后国际体系中,民族国家和跨国市场经济是两种长期并存、相互竞争的普世主义,它们与社会行为体一起构成并行不悖的三大行动领域。新中世纪主义认为,缺乏无可争议的至尊权威是后国际体系的基本特征。Professor Jorg Friedrichs from Munich University introduced the concept of ' Neo-medievacism' by means of analogy and metaphor,and suggested that Neo-medi-evalism could be used as a new paradigm to analyze 'post-international 'system. In an analogous way, Neo-medievalism is defined as' a system of overlapping authority and multiple loyalty, held together by the competing universalistic claims of nation-state system and transnational market economy'. Neo-medievalism theory suggests that nation-states could not disappear from the 'post-international' system, while nation-states and transnational market economy are acting continuouSly as co-existing and competing universalism. Neo-medievalism claims that' post-international' system is characterized by the absence of an undisputed supremacy.
