Objective The role of triglyceride(TG) as a independent risk factor for coronory artery disases has long been controversed.In present study,we examinod the independent correlation and epidemiological implication between TG and CAD.Methods We enrollod 631 patients with complete records of coronary angiography done in our hospital since 1996. All data includeing TG and other risk factors had been statistically treated. Results All cases were divided into two groups:positive and negative groups,according to the result of angiography.TG had statistically significant difference between two groups:2.12±1.26( n =407)in positive group vs 1.54±0.33( n =224)in negative group, P < 0.05 ;at the same time,total cholesterin(TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterin(LDL C)had statistically significant result,5.37±0.646( n =407)in positive group vs 4.67±0.642( n =224)in negative group, P <0.05,and 2.87±0.65( n =407) in positive group vs 2.23±0.83( n =224)in negative group , P <0.05,respectively.L line regressive analysis,showed a direct correlation between TG,TC and LDL C,and each correlative efficient had statistically significant difference, when tested with the rank result of angiography.And there was no contradictional result when adjusted by blood pressure,fasting blood glucose and gender.Conclusion TG is a independent risk factor for CAD,and physicians should pay more attention to it.
