摘　　要：阐述主题标引过程的3个步骤与4个要素,概述符号语言学的一般情况,介绍Peirce的10个符号类别以及3种存在模式和三分法,并分别讨论这些符号类别和4个要素。Three steps and four elements of subject indexing process are set forth in this paper. The au-thors summarize the general situation of semiotics, explain pierce' s ten categories of sign, three modes of be-ing, and trichotomies, and emphatically discuss these categories of sign and four elements separately.
