摘　　要：本文根据CAD系统发展的要求,从计算机如何辅助产品设计出发,论述了建模的重要性,讨论了模型库概念、意义、发展前景以及与优化设计的关系,提出了与此有关的一些值得深入研究的问题。Model base is a new concept in CAD development, which is proposed by author while studying optimization design, theory, modelling method, and applic ation of CAD. This paper deals with the concept, purpose, significance, application and developing project of the model base of mechanical optimization design. The thesis also introduces the contents and method of the general axle design and spring design which are primarily bounded by the author.
