摘　　要：介绍了阀控式少维护GN100-(4)碱性蓄电池的性能特点:高低温性能好,恒压充电接受能力强,耐过充、过放电,寿命长,维护简便。在电力机车上的实际运行情况表明,该蓄电池满足了电力机车的使用要求,安全、可靠,在SS4和SS8型电力机车上可实现2年不维护。Properties of valve regulated low maintenance GN100 (4) alkaline storage battery,such as good performance at high and low temperature, good charge acceptance ability at constant voltage, good resistance to overcharge and overdischarge, long cycle life, easy maintenance,etc. were introduced in this paper. The operating results show that the battery meet the demands of electric locomotive due to its safety and credibility, and achieved no maintenance in SS4 and SS8 type electric locomotive for two years.
