摘　　要：本文介绍一个异构型局域网图形、图象、文字通信系统.讨论了在网络环境下图文信息统一的编码标准——中西文页面描述语言.给出了图文信息的编辑、编码、存储、传输、显示和打印等功能的实现方法.In this paper, the hardware and software environment of a graphics-text communication system in the heterogeneous network is presented. The graphics-text information-united encoded standard -Chinese character page description language in network is discussed. The implementation method to edit, encode, store, transform, display and print graphics-text information is described in detail.
