The Application of Adaptive Turbo Coded Modulation for the Multicarrier DS—CDMA System

摘　　要：A new scheme combining Adaptive Turbo Coded Modulation (ATuCM) and multicarrier transmis-sion is proposed for high-bit-rate and high-quality Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) sys-tems. The total subcarriers are divided into L sub-bands each of which is composed of P adjacent subcarriers and the same Turbo Coded Modulation (TuCM) mode is em-ployed for all the subcarriers in the sub-band based on sub-band channel estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed system can provide noticeable BER and through-put performance improvement on frequency-selective fad-ing channels in comparison with the non-adaptive system.
