摘　　要：首先介绍台湾工业工程的发展背景,并分别从学会、教育、学门、学术刊物、学术交流等不同角度介绍目前发展状况,进而介绍工业工程5个子学门的重点研究领域,分析工业工程在产业界应用的情形及目前产业界对工业工程的需求,最后探讨工业工程的未来发展走向和策略。This paper takes a retrospective study on the development of industrial engineering in Taiwan from five different areas including IE institutes, IE education, NSC IE division, publications, and exchange programs, with discussions on the application of IE in enterprise, needs of enterprises, as well as the future roles of IE in ecentury.
