摘　　要：文中首先介绍了并行VOD系统,通过对当前流行的双机热备份方案分析比较,提出了一种面向应用级的实用的双机热备份方案,并以并行VOD系统为背景,阐述了其设计与实现过程。This paper introduces the present status of research for VOD. Then it puts forward a pratical and application system oriented online dual backup plan through a comparison and analysis of current popular online dual backup plans. And based on parallel VOD system, it elucidates in detail the design and accomplishing process of this plan.
