摘　　要：田径项目以其奖牌多,竞争激烈,影响大的特点,在任何大赛中都引起各国的高度重视。参赛各国都通过田径来显示本国的体育实力和综合国力。20世纪90年代以来世界田径成绩发展较为平稳,起伏较小,大部分项目没有固定周期性变化现象,即使在奥运会年其成绩与相邻年份的成绩相比,其变化也很小,而中国田径大部分项目的成绩发展不稳定,起伏很大。全运会周期现象非常明显,全运会年和相邻年份的成绩比较差距较大。从总体上看中国田径各个项目的成绩与世界成绩相比还存在一定的差距,尤其是男子项目差距较大,女子项目好于男子项目。The track and field events were noticed by all countries in any great competition for their characteristics of too many medals and severe contest. Though track and field each country taking part in the competition showed its actual strength of sport and comprehensive national power. Since 1990's track and field performances of the world have developed smoothly and steadily with less wave. For most of the events there was no phenomenon of fixed periodical change. Even during the Olympic years the change was small, compared with that in the years before and after the Olympics. Nevertheless, the performances in most of the track and field events of China developed unsteadily and undulated. During the years of the national games the periodical phenomenon was obvious. There was difference of performances in the year of the national games and the years before and after the naational games. Viewing the situation as a whole, there still existed differences of the Chinese athletes' performances in every event, compared with those of the world, especially for the events of male athletes. The situation of the female athletes' events was better than that of the male.
