紫花苜蓿在吉林省种植业结构调整中的作用和地位

摘　　要：吉林省是我国重要的商品粮基地,玉米是本省农业的支柱产业。但在新的发展形势下,尤其是加入WTO后,吉林省的玉米产业遇到了前所未有的挑战,种植业结构调整势在必行。阐述了吉林省发展苜蓿产业,不仅有着良好的自然条件和便利的地缘优势,而且还有较高的比较效益,并在一定程度上缓解了农业生产中存在的主要矛盾。苜蓿的种植与发展,是吉林省农业生产结构调整的客观需求,发展苜蓿产业,吉林省前景广阔,大有作为。Jilin province is the important base of grain production in China,and maize production is the mainstay industry of agriculture in Jilin province.Facing with the new situa-tion,especially after China has joined WTO,maize industry in Jilin province will meet the huge challenge and must be adjusted to adapt to market change in the future.To meet the demand for adjusting the structure of agriculture production in Jilin province,alfalfa industry should be developed correspondingly.According to the natural condition,favourable geographical position,and profit analysis of planting alfalfa in Jilin province,the author thinks that Jilin province is one of the most potential region in the developing alfalfa industry in China.
