摘 要:以EPDM接枝马来酸酐作相容剂,用一段密闭熔融混炼、二段开炼机混炼的方法制备了EPDM/有机蒙脱土(OMMT)纳米复合材料,并对其性能进行了研究。结果表明,熔融混炼使EPDM分子链开始插入OMMT片层间,致使OMMT片层间距有所增大;开炼机混炼使OMMT片层间距进一步增大;硫化后,OMMT片层剥离,以纳米级尺寸均匀分布于EPDM基体中。与FPDM胶料相比,EPDM/OMMT纳米复合材料的损耗因子小,玻璃化温度高,储能模量大,物理性能显著提高。An EPDM/organomontmorillonite (OMMT) nano-composite was prepared with the first step melt mixing in a rheometer and the second step mixing on an open mill and by using EPDM-graft-maleic anhydride as compatibilizer. The dynamic properties of the composite were investigated. The test results showed that the melt mixing made the molecular chains of EPDM intercalate into the laminates of OMMT to increase the space between the laminates;the open mill-mixing made the space between the laminates of OMMT increase further; and after vulcanization, the laminates of OMMT were separated from each other to nano-size and uniformly dispered in EPDM matrix when compared to EPDM compound, EPDM/OMMT nano-composite featured lower tanδ, higher Tg and storage modulus, and significantly improved physical properties.
