摘　　要：　综合比较了各种局域网接入方式,介绍了国内外近期有关聚合物光纤局域网的研究成果。认为聚合物光纤在短距离光通信中具有成本与技术优势,特别在局域网与光纤入户中的应用潜力巨大。Various local area network (LAN) access media are reviewed and compared, and recent international research progress of LAN using polymer optical fiber (POF) are introduced. It is considered that POF has better cost and technical advantages for using in short distance optical communication, especially in LAN and fiber to the home (FTTH).
