摘　　要：3层交换机是智能网络的关键组成部分 ,它提高了网络容错性、路由速度 ,在降低了组网成本的同时利用 TOS到 COS的映射最大可能的保证了 QOS.事实上 ,3层交换 (IP交换 )可以根据应用、协议或 IP地址对不同的业务进行分类 ,并根据类别分配不同的 QOS保证 ,这样可以允许不同的业务同时得到可靠的传输 .本文首先概述了 L T- 5 0 13层交换机的硬件系统结构 ,接着详细的介绍了各组成模块 ,着重阐述了所采用的交换技术和队列管理算法 .最后 ,对系统的带宽匹配进行了分析 。Layer 3 switches enable a host of intelligent network features such as fault tolerant route redundancy, network troubleshooting and QoS, CoS and ToS parameters. In fact, Layer 3 switches (IP switches) can assign QoS by application, protocol or IP address, allowing a wide range of video, voice and data applications to be simultaneously and reliably delivered. The paper first reviews the hardware architecture of LT-501 IP switch, then introduces all modules in detail, which constitute the switch. In every module, the paper presents key technology and algorithms that were used. At last, bandwidth of system was analyzed and the means and result of system test was given.
