摘　　要：详细介绍第40届IFLA国际风景园林大学生设计竞赛获得二等奖的参赛作品:“记忆的边缘——圆明园遗址保护”的整个创作过程。这一过程包括了从选择圆明园作为参赛内容;到以“记忆”作为载体,奠定整个作品的创作立意;在寻找记忆的过程中所走的弯路;直至通过仔细的分析研究,最终形成了以尊重历史,尊重现实为基础的设计理念,将圆明园规划设计成为一座新时期的遗址公园,来帮助人们找回对圆明园的完整记忆,并通过这种方式使其能够在城市发展的边缘,作为一种历史文化的遗产,永远存在下去。The thesis introduces the whole design process of the proj ect-Memory on the edge-the Preservation of the Yuanmingyuan Ruins.The project wo n the2nd prize at the International Student Design Competition hold by the40th I FLA World Congress2003.The project started with taking the decision of choosing Yuanmingyuan as the site for design.The designer then made'memory'-the Abstract concept as the foundation of the whole design work.And then they mentioned abo ut the problems they met during the process of recovering the disappearing memor y.Finally through meticulous study and analysis,the designer formed the basic id ea that Yuanmingyuan should be planed as a ruin garden of the new era,respecting the history as well as the existing state of the ruins.Only by this way,we can get the disappearing memory back,and only when the memory of Yuanmingyuan return s to people's mind,Yuanmingyuan can survive the rapid development of the surroun ding area.As a historic and cultural heritage,it will stay forever.
