摘　　要：文章对各主要古典园林类型作了全面比较,分析了现代景观设计对传统园林的继承关系及重要拓展,并进一步指出了对现代景观设计的根本性创新起到关键作用的若干因素。其中还列举了大量的实例来加以说明。This thesis narrates a detailed study of the selecti ve inheritance and the significant development of traditional gardens in modern la ndscape design by means of making an overall comparison among the main types of classical gardens.Further more,the thesis points out several factors which play a vital role to the essential innovations of modern landscape design.In addition ,many examples are given to illustrate the statement above.
