摘 要:概括了一种使用现存可行脉冲信号技术的跳时扩频多址系统的诸多特性 ,并对出现的设计问题进行了描述。首次提出把相移键控 (PSK)调制方式和最小频移键控 (MSK)调制方式应用于冲激无线电通信系统 ,并且在理想多址信道条件下 ,对冲激无线电系统的传输符号速率和多址性能进行了定量测量和评估。仿真结果显示 ,调制方式和脉冲宽度对该性能有显著影响。给出有关使用PSK及MSK调制方式的冲激无线电通信系统设计的折衷方法 。Attractive features of a time-hopping spread spectrum multiple access system employing currently available impulse signal technology are outlined and the existing design issues are described in this paper. It is firstly presented that two different modulation modes, namely phase shift keying(PSK) and minimum frequency shift keying(MSK), are applied for such an impulse radio communication system and under ideal multiple-access channel conditions. The performance of the impulse radio system in terms of transmission symbol rate and multiple-access capability is quantitatively tested and evaluated. Simulation results show that the modulation mode and impulse width have a great effect on this performance. Also, the trade-off on the design of impulse radio system with PSK and MSK modes is given, and according to different bit error rates, the maximums of the number of the users supported by the system and the transmission symbol rate are obtained.
