摘　　要：协优 5 968系浙江省台州市农科所用协青早A与恢复系t5 968配组育成的杂交籼稻新组合。该组合具有高产稳产、米质较好、抗性较强、适应性广、生育期适中等特点 ,2 0 0 3年 3月通过浙江省品种审定委员会审定。Xieyou 5968 (Xieqingzao A/t5968), is a new indica hybrid rice combination, developed by the Taizhou Agricultural Research Institute of Zhejiang. It is characteristic of high and stable yield, good grain quality, good resistance, wide adaptability and suitable maturity. It was registered and released to commercial production in Zhejiang Province in 2003. The breeding procedure, major characteristics and applying technical points in the cultural management and hybrid seed production of Xieyou 5968 were introduced in this paper.
