论清代“红顶商人”胡雪岩的历史功绩

摘　　要：胡雪岩是中国近代史上洋务运动的先驱人物之一,协助左宗棠加强海防,并协办福州船政局;积极引进西方先进机器设备和技术,力助左宗棠开发大西北;购运西方先进武器装备左军,及时收复新疆。他推行慈善事业,为国为民做了一系列善事。两次东渡扶桑,从日本购回我国流失海外的文物。他创立"胡庆余堂雪记国药号"金字招牌,并树立了"诚信"、"戒欺"的榜样。Hu Xueyan was one of the pioneers who proposed to learn from foreign countries in the modern history of China. His contributions are mainly reflected in six aspects. Firstly, he helped Zuo Zongtang to reinforce the sea defense and found the Fuzhou ship bureau. Secondly, he imported advanced machine equipments and technology from western countries initiatively and assisted Zuo to develop the northwest area of China. Thirdly, he bought advanced weapons from the western countries to reinforce the 'Zuo Army' and recovered Xinjiang Province in time. Fourthly, he carried out charities at that time. Fifthly, he went to Japan twice and bought back some of Chinese cultural relics. Lastly, he solely founded the golden trade mark' Hu Qing Yu Tang Xue Ji Guo Yao Hao' which set a good example of 'sincerity' and 'no cheat' at that time.
