摘　　要：同步状态信息(SSM)在同步定时链路中用于传递定时信号的质量等级,是保证同步数字传输网传送同步定时信号一个关键技术。为此,介绍了同步状态信息的定义和作用,并以实际网络状态变化来分析SSM如何实现传送网同步信息,以保证同步数字传输网的同步运行。Synchronization status message (SSM),used to transmit the quality grades of timing signals in synchronous timing chains,is a key technique to guarantee the transmission of synchronous timing signals in a synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) based transmission network.With the description of SSM definition and function,the paper analyzes its realization means of synchronization message transmission under various network conditions to ensure the synchronous operation of SDH based network.
