摘　　要：对当前城域网的业务需求进行了分析,提出四类城域网建设解决方案。重点介绍了基于SDH的城域多业务传送平台(MSTP)技术的工作原理及发展过程,并从网络结构、业务归集能力、安全性、管理维护、兼容性等五个方面探讨了城域MSTP建设应该注意的问题。Service requirements in the current MAN are analyzed.Four kinds of solutions for the construction of MAN are put forward.Working princi-ple and development procedures of SDH -based MSTP(Multi -Service Transmission Platform)technology in MAN are introduced.Problems in the construction of MSTP in MAN are dis-cussed in network architecture,service centralization capability,safety,mainte-nance and compatibility.
