摘　　要：依据塑料薄膜的基本物理特性,通过在水库坝体、坝基垂直防渗处理中的应用实例,说明塑料薄膜作为一种新型防渗材料,在垂直防渗工程中能达到防渗要求.The essential physical properties of the plastics membrane are introduced. Through the practical example of preventing perpendicular seepage in dam base and dam body,it is proved that as a new material of preventing seepage, the plastics mebrane is satisfactory in engineering application of preventing perpendicular seepage.
