摘　　要：分析了机床的模块化设计在机床的数控化改造中的意义 。In this paper the significance of the modular design in the retrofitting of the machine tools is analyzed. Authors of the paper also point out that the combination of the modular design and the retrofitting of the machine tools will take a great role in the sustainability of the machine tools.
