摘　　要：承认和尊重资本的作用 ,是党的十六大报告的重要创新之处。从资本对促进社会生产力、先进文化的发展以及人民群众生活水平提高的积极作用看 ,资本与“三个代表”具有时代的相契特点。必须进一步解放资本 ,充分发挥其积极作用 ,更好地实践“三个代表”的重要思想 ,实现全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标。To admit and respect the positive effects of capital is an important innovation in the report at the Sixteenth National Congress of the CPC. Based on it, the author of this paper discusses and illustrates that capital is instrumental in developing the advanced productive forces and culture and improving people’s living standard , in order to state that capital can carry out the important thought of Three Represents in the practice of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. The author also explores how to emancipate capital and unleash all the vitality contained in it to practice the important thought of Three Represents and realize the objectives of building an all-round well-off society.
