摘　　要：报道了 2 0 0 0年SCIE收录中国大陆期刊的情况 ,分析了期刊及论文被SCIE收录的意义 ,结合SCIE的期刊收录原则 ,就中国期刊如何提高办刊质量 。The journals published in the mainland of China cited in Science Citation Index expanded (SCIE) in 2000 are reported, and the significance of the cited journals and articles is analyzed.A further discussion is made on how to improve the quality of Chinese journals for their entrance into international retrieval systems in accordance with the selection principles of SCIE.
