摘　　要：从技术角度详细论述河南大学图书馆建设视频点播阅览室的指导思想与技术方案。On the basis of a great deal of multimedia documents collection at libraries, building own LAN - based VOD reading room could use the documents sufficiently in education and protect them effectively. This paper analyzes the guidance idea and technology project of building the VOD reading room at the library of Henan University.
