摘　　要：讨论MPEG标准中所使用的运动补偿预测编码技术 ,它包括因果预测和非因果预测 ,运用此算法MPEG标准可达到很高的压缩比 ,但仍保持很好的图像质量。不仅在广播电视方面 ,在多媒体等许多新的领域MPEG标准被广泛采用。The predictable encoding techniques of movement compensation adopted in MPEG standard is discussed, which include causality prediction and non-causality prediction. MPEG standard applies the algorithm to reach very high compression ratio, while the image quality remains very good. It is extensively adopted not only in broadcasting and TV fields but also in many new areas, such as multi-media.
