摘  要:外语教学是个极其复杂的系统工程,它的成败与否在很大程度上取决于教学法的运用,因而教学法概念的准确界定和体系结构的合理构建,对教学法的有效实施举足轻重.鉴于目前该领域尚存在概念混用、体系结构不够完善等状况,本文从几个主要概念的界定和翻译入手,概括了目前国内外的不同观点和立场,试图重新解释相关基本概念的内涵及其关系,并在此基础上对教学法体系的基本框架进行了重构.Based on a review of different positions concerning the definitions of and the relationship among some fundamental terms in foreign language teaching methodology, this paper first tries to reinterpret these important terms by referring to their English definitions in dictionary and interpretations in previous studies. Then, it attempts to restructure their interrelations by putting them into a new model of the teaching methodology system. Finally, this paper concludes that foreign language teaching should not go with blurred terminology and it is far from satisfactory to risk mixing up 'approach' and 'method' by translating them both into 'fa' in Chinese.
