摘　　要：新一代静止图像压缩标准JPEG2000中增加的新特性之一,就是支持感兴趣区域编码技术。JPEG2000协议中定义了两种感兴趣区域编码算法—MaxShift算法和Scaling based算法。文中详细描述了MaxShift算法,并简要介绍了Scaling based算法,同时对两种算法的特性进行了比较分析。One of the technologies in JPEG2000 image compression standard is the'Region of Interest(ROI) coding' .JPEG2000 defines two kinds of ROI coding methods——the general scaling based method and maximum shift(maxshift)method. The paper describes the maxshift method, and introduces the general scaling based method simply. Finally, it compares two method's different features.
