An experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary levels of riboflavin on performance of broilers under heat stress. 360 Arbor Acres chickens aged 21 days old were randomly divided into 6 groups, there were 3 replicates in each group and 20 chickens in each replicate(10 males and 10 females) .The birds in cages were raised in an environment controlled room maintained at 30- 35℃ under continuous lighting for five weeks. They all were fed same basal diet and gave 6 treatments as follows: (1) basal diet + 0.0mg/kg riboflavin as control,(2) basal diet+ 1.6mg/kg riboflavin, (3)basal diet + 5. 2mg/kg riboflavin, (4)basal diet+ 12.4mg/kg riboflavin,(5)basal diet + 23mg/kg riboflavin,(6)basal diet + 48mg/kg riboflavin. The results showed that: 1. riboflavin supplement reduced mortality of the broilers under heat stress(P<0.05) .2. the effects of dietary riboflavin levels on the weight of thymus, spleen and fabricius bursa ware not found. 3. the dietary riboflavin levels increased serum antibody titres to Newcastle disease virus of 42 days old broilers. Higher level riboflavin(5. 2mg/ kg) increased serum antibody titres to Newcastle disease virus of 56 days old broilers.
