摘　　要：记述在湖北采到的蝗虫一新种:武当山小蹦蝗 Pedopodisma wudangshanasp.nov..它近似秦岭小蹦蝗 Pedopodisma tsinlingensis(Cheng),但前翅翅顶较尖;雄性尾须顶端平截,中央略凹,后下角角状突出;雄性阳具基背片形状不同.模式标本保存于山东大学生物系无脊椎动物标本室.A new species of grasshoppers from Hubei province is discovered.The type specimensare deposited in the Department of Biology,Shandong University.Pedopodisma wudangshana sp.nov.(Fig.1—7)The new species is closely related to p.tsinlingensis(Zheng),but differs from it in thefollowing characters:1)the tip of elytra sharp;2)the apex of cercus of male straight,slight-ly concave at the centre;3)the shape of epiphallus is different.Length of body,(?)19.8—20.5mm,(?)22—25.3mm;length of pronotum:(?)4—4.3mm,(?)5.4—5.6mm;length of elytra:(?)0.4—0.6mm,(?)0.5—0.7mm;length of hind fe-mur:(?)11.67—13.5mm,(?)13.15.2mm.Holotype(?),allotype(?),paratypes 4(?)7(?),Wudang Mountain,Huhei province (32°37′N,111°08′E),1100m,July 14,1990.Collected by Wang Yuwen and Song Anguo.
